Cotton Carrier Camera Vest System

Best camera toting invention yet

Putting a heavy camera around your neck is not good for your neck, your balance, or your camera. The Cotton Carrier (contains no cotton; it is named after the inventor) takes all the weight of your equipment and distributes it across your shoulders. Wearing it, you may look something like a SWAT team member, but you forget all about the weight and bulk of your Nikon 600 or Sony Alpha 7 or whatever other combination of metal and glass you might be using. The camera is instantly available, very well protected, you are less tired, and you forget entirely about how it looks.

How it works: the vest has a plate that fits to the bottom of the screw mount on the bottom of your camera. Once attached to the camera, the plate then slips into a slot on the front of the vest, and locks into place. Removing the camera from the vest is easy, but it does require a slight turn, which keeps the camera from coming loose unexpectedly. In addition, two safety straps on the vest clip to the camera, preventing the camera from falling even if you do happen to let go of it.

Warning: if you are wearing this, it is impossible to convince anyone that you are a rank amateur. Which is sometimes also a blessing.
